Terms that protect the room.

These terms explain how Sown TV works for viewers, creators, supporters, and businesses. They are written to keep live communities useful, safe, and fair.

Last updated: May 2026

Protection 1

Protect creators from impersonation, harassment, fraud, payment abuse, and unsafe chat behavior.

Protection 2

Protect viewers from scams, misleading offers, abusive content, privacy violations, and unsafe communities.

Protection 3

Protect businesses from fake inventory, unsafe placements, and campaigns that could damage trust.

Protection 4

Protect Sown TV from illegal activity, platform manipulation, chargebacks, and conduct that risks the whole community.

Accounts and identity

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login secure. Your handle, profile, channel name, live room details, business profile, and public activity must not impersonate another person, brand, creator, or organization.

Creator responsibility

Creators are responsible for what they stream, upload, write, sell, promote, or allow in their live community. You must follow Sown TV rules, local laws, copyright rules, privacy rights, and any extra obligations that apply to your category or country.

Community rules during live streams

Creators may set room rules for their own communities. Viewers must respect those rules. Sown TV may still remove content, limit tools, suspend access, or investigate conduct when platform safety, legal compliance, payment risk, or community trust is affected.

Gifts, points, wallet activity, and purchases

Gift points are used to support live interactions and digital gifts on Sown TV. Once gift points, gifts, or similar digital items are purchased, sent, consumed, credited, or used in a stream experience, purchases are generally final and non-refundable except where required by law or where Sown TV confirms a technical billing error.

Creator earnings and reviews

Creator balances, monetization, gift activity, payouts, and partnership eligibility may be reviewed for fraud, chargebacks, policy violations, artificial activity, identity checks, payment provider requirements, and tax or compliance obligations.

Business and advertising

Businesses must submit truthful campaign information and may not run ads for scams, illegal products, misleading claims, unsafe financial offers, hate, exploitation, or content that damages creators or viewers. Sown TV may reject, pause, edit placement, or remove campaigns to protect the platform.

No abuse of the platform

You may not scrape, attack, overload, reverse engineer, bypass security, manipulate metrics, farm gifts, automate fake engagement, abuse payments, or interfere with any creator, viewer, business, or Sown TV system.

Enforcement

We may warn, remove content, limit features, hold funds, require verification, suspend accounts, terminate access, report illegal activity, or preserve evidence when necessary to protect viewers, creators, businesses, payment systems, and Sown TV.

Important purchase note

Digital gifts are final once used.

Gift points and digital gifts help power live support. To protect creators, viewers, businesses, and the payment system, Sown TV does not provide refunds for gift purchases once points are delivered, gifts are sent, or digital value is consumed, unless required by law or confirmed by Sown TV as a platform billing error.
